Fediverse is about factional warfare and flaming those whose perspective does not align with one’s own. After all, it only inherits its design from a centralized proprietary originator, as many OSS clones tend to do.

I would say that classic forums are better but they now tend to be isolated and hyperfocused on a particular subject matter.
