     @Wormwood @Neigh-Sayer @PraxisOfEvil I've unironically heard the same sort of deal, but in relation to new apartment complexes. They'd hire white people, also well dressed, to stand outside the newly built apartment complexes and pretend like they're interested, and in other cases welcome in possible buyers.
     Really interesting stuff.

He comes in wearing a nice suit and bosses everyone around, they treat him like a king. He doesn't say a word, just looks real stern and serious. He'll attend these important business meetings. But since my friend knows english, he talks to them after. They're not the boss at all, just hired to look important. Turns out it's some retard from the south or maybe Russia. These companies just hire them because having a white guy in a suit makes the business look important

     Oh, it's very legal. Without giving away too much information about me, it appears that my field is overrepresented by white males so various employers have been given a government-mandated exemption from anti-discrimination laws to - get this - "positively discriminate" to ensure equity. So if a white guy is interested in a product, you, as the Asian, should be too, because you want to be a smart, handsome, wealthy, and successful as the white guy, right? Japan did it in commercials for years, see below.
