It’s even worse when they make an industry out of it. Five people paid for ‘following up’ per homeless person, and heads of the org bragging about their house in the mountains and cabin out of state.
Enabling people that harm themselves and terrorize others didn’t end well for anyone every time I saw it done. They were screaming in the street every night and smashing the glass out of every business. Word on the street was the city did it to drive out residents so they could redevelop areas, and that did happen – however businesses left and didn’t come back more often than not and dead zones and food deserts grow.
It’s especially bullshit when they start a camp on people’s doorstep, but any homeless near the mayor are tossed out the same day.
