First time on Duolingo. Is it normal to get caught up on what they're trying to say when going through the kana? I might have listening impediment. しじひつうゆ all starts blurring together in like a spectrum. しsounds different when at start which makes it sound like つ. I have same problem with English but I have a hardwired dictionary in my brain that filters out nonsense sounds but it's not good in this language. I hate it because I just tune out listening. Reading is fine for me.
