What android phones exist that can be degoogled easily?

@m0xEE @PurpCat I had a Redmi Note model that can be unlocked just by flashing some pre-unlocked OEM partition, that was all the way back in 2016.

Xiaomi phones usually have a choice of alternative ROMs, the one I have, Poco X3 Pro, can even run Sailfish, Ubuntu Touch and Droidian.
Unlocking their bootloader is a PITA in itself though — you still have to give them some phone number and e-mail address and wait for about a week. And things are going to get worse in the future, but if you're going for a used one, it shouldn't be a problem: pick a model that works for you, check XDAForums for alternative ROMs to make sure they exist for this model and go for it.

Yeah, "more proper" :marseysmirk: means of unlock probably exist for the older models, but not for the newer ones, anyway the recommended way on XDAForums is unfortunately is to wait for a week :marseysad:
