     The "femicide" shit is really being pushed globally. They're working on it systematically to get it a recognized term in law around the world to refer to murders of women killed because they are women. Whatever that means. They've latched this on to domestic abuse to make it stick and it's working.
     
     We can't say 'woman murdered by domestic abuser', we gotta have the extra punch of 'domestic abuse femicide', cause obviously IT'S NOT A VERB

     The obvious answer is to put up two big dishes for a FTA setup, or pull in some northern U.S. stations.
     The former has a big initial investment (equal to a year of cable) with no further cost while the other's cheap, but requires you to be near the south of Canada (not mentioning there are no French-speaking services on U.S. airwaves).

     As I care more about the multicasters, I wouldn't know about the news. Multicasters don't focus on news.
     The only news multicaster I know of that's actually on the air is Scripps News (or as they used to be known, Newsy).
