   But we all know Israeli studies are just Hamas propaganda—even the concept of “a study” or “facts” seem deeply antisemitic, don’t you think?—so this is probably all fake and we’re not just sitting idly by as #Israel commits #genocide and ethnic cleansing right before our eyes or anything.

     @TCatInReality Yep, like the abusive spouse that shouts at you before striking you. Which is apt because Israel’s position towards killing Palestinians has always been “why do you make me hurt you?”

     I'd be astounded if 39% of the 17,000+ people they killed were Hamas soldiers.

     It's not even plausible. 2/3 of the people in Gaza that the Israeli government has killed thus far are women & children. 2/3 = 67%. 7000+ children. 1000+ babies. Plus, the remaining 33% of murdered Gazans are men which =/= soldiers.Many of them have been journalists, doctors, poets, professors, teachers.

     And the Netanyahu coalition has been starving all 2.3 million Gazans to death for the last 2 months.

     @ramede Hamas’s Oct 7 attack was barbarism, regardless of context. Just like their barbarism doesn’t excuse Israel’s barbarism, their barbarism is not excused by Israel’s either.

     Nothing excuses the slaughter of innocent civilians. Not a single damn thing.

     (And that’s before we get to Hamas being an Islamist sect that oppresses their own people.)

     So you’ll find no love of Hamas here, I’m afraid. (As an ex-Muslim, they’d shoot me where I stood if they could.)

     IMHO... If it is an 'Israeli study' that civilians make up 61% of #Gaza deaths from airstrikes,' I feel I have to read that as 'Civilians make up 81% of #Gaza & West Bank deaths from airstrikes and other police/military offences.'
     Also.IMHO, the Oct 7th HAMAS maneuver was a purely defensive attack on a deadly oppressive regime.
     My thoughts & prayers go out to Palestinians & the Jewish populace not supportive of the ethnic cleansing of Palestine.

     I apologize for any insinuation of any innocence of the HAMAS attack, I was trying to accentuate the extreme disproportionate response of the Israelis government to that attack.
     18000 deaths vs 1200
     Am I wrong there?
