     @lain@lain.com life itself is ever-present, everywhere, unceasingly. consciousness---that which provides the dual illusions of the soul and free will---can, on occasion, be present prior to birth, but sadly it is rarely present either before or after. society has seen fit to reduce the vast majority of humans to the level of animals convinced that the role they must play is cast for them by the dice of Fate.
