The Australian government has just pledged to slow migration (currently >400k per year). It is yet to be seen if this will be to the pre-covid rate (~200k per year), or the large cuts that Australia really needs. Either way, we must push for the hardest cuts possible.

(1) Albo is desperate in the polls at the moment and being hammered on [illegal] immigration by the opposition. And,
(2) The levels are fundamentally unsustainable (ref housing crisis + more than 600 building companies going bankrupt in this financial year alone)
