    People are wrong about Daylight Savings time. Every time you'll get dozens of articles saying *Is it time to get rid of daylight savings*? as if it's a bad thing. The truth is we're **not doing it enough**. The real reason everyone is confused is because we took a half step. The world is a sphere, not a flat plane. Because we're missing an entire dimension of detail, we're only doing **half** the daylight savings required. **What do I mean by this?** You see, we currently save daylight by longitude, but if we want a *truly accurate* amount of daylight savings we will also require **time dilation** by latitude. So the further you get from the equator the more we have to slow the clocks down to ensure everyone *actually receives* their full day in the sun. This is because each day and night is longer the closer you get to the north or south pole. This is the essential factor missing from a physically accurate daylight savings model.
