   @pomegranate_stew @aral I read the book after watching the show, and while the idea is the same, the book left a lot more to guess, the show is a lot more explicit and brutal.

   It’s a good watch imho, but yeah, it’s heavy.

     @tshirtman I did it in the reverse order (book → show) but stopped watching at one point because it started feeling a little like torture porn. The book, although brutal, never felt that way (to me, at least).
