     @nixCraft brother black and white laser printers are the only way to go. Everhthing else is pain.

     @nixCraft genuinely wonder why there's no generic knock off printers from China that don't care what cartridge they have, or have replaceable firmware. Guess the sale price is below cost (as profit is on official ink) and that's hard to compete with. Shame though as a printer should last and be an investment if the ink is cheaply sourcable
