   @mangeurdenuage @goatmeal @dwaltiz depends on the season, but the original, they basically took the Japanese action footage and dubbed over it and completely made up the non-action footage. They even got Rita, the villain, to actually shoot new footage for the movie IIRC

     @mangeurdenuage @dwaltiz I must be living under a rock but I just found out power rangers is japanese and they just edited out the heroes and put americans in there instead. I must have thought the witch was hispanic or something growing up.

     @goatmeal @dwaltiz US power ranger was actually made in the US, all the costumer were imported/duplicated from the super sentai series.
