@arstechnica it'll be a cold day in hell before I willingly upgrade from windows 10 to 11. I'm currently locked out of my windows 11 machine by the stupid bitlocker outage, and I'm just about to get over it, nuke my drives, and replace it with Linux.

@arstechnica I gotta say, I went to GNU/Linux full time back in 2014ish and I've never looked back. I think the landscape is 100x better now, especially with stuff like Steam Deck helping to put some work into multimedia, which was always lacking.
@arstechnica I feel like the fact that they acknowledged that people don't want to let go of 10 kind of acknowledges, by extension, that people don't want to use 11 and the stuff they've done to it. Yet I sure don't see them making efforts to actually fix that stuff...
