   i really wonder how sensitive your dna data really is. it's not used as a security factor, it doesn't really identify you, it doesn't give much data to act on for pretty much anything, and you can't stop sharing it if someone tries to get it (like if they ask you to spit in their mouth)

     @lain medicine can be advertised to you more efficiently due to genetic conditions you may have or could have in the future

     at least that's what they do with the information in america lol

     @lain the difference is that if you spit in a tube and properly store it, you can actually extract the dna and get actionable data from it, but if you spit in my mouth ill just get hard. there's nothing i can do with that dna, because im not a multimillion dollar piece of industrial equipment
