     @lain All the usual disclaimers apply, but my ratio model says the only good buy in precious metals at the moment is platinum. It's been below both gold and palladium for several years, which is historically unusual. The platinum-palladium ratio seems highly likely to reverse soon (palladium should be cheaper on chemistry and abundance, has been more expensive recently, now is about equal); platinum-gold may take much longer if ever.
