     "surprise GPL relicense" is a euphemism for leak.

     @r000t @darkphotonstudio I remember when someone leaked Samsung's proprietary exFAT driver when it was new, and slapped a GPL on it. Some drama ensued due to concerns such behavior gives a bad image to FOSS community. Then it turned out Samsung themselves reused some GPL code in it.

     I suspect Riot uses GPL'd code in multiple places. Guess we'll find out.

     What's funny is if they are, I think that means we have a right to updates to the leaked code.
