     @bnys did you find other boards with 8GB and a311d? i found vim4 but it has a311d2 which is incompatble i think?

     @bnys hah. tbh for me personally more CPU and GPU oomph is more important than a lot of ram, but maybe i don't have typical usecases

     @mntmn data sheet I found says max 4gb for the A311d unfortunately

     @mntmn I can manage on 4 GB (yesterday on reform I was at ~80% utilization which is higher than avg for me). my worry is that higher gpu/cpu perf means ppl try more demanding tasks, which demand more ram :P
