It started as a MitM to siphon the search terms of retards to sell their data for marketing purposes and ony got worse from there. There is and never has been a single reason to use duckduckgo. It does not provide better search results and never did - it only ever showed you the results of another service. It does not now and never did hide your data from the search provider - the provider still gets everything except your IP address, which you're giving to DuckDuckGo anyway. If you wanted to hide that information you could just use a fucking proxy.
     
     DuckDuckGo is now and always has been a fake service for retards, and if you use it now or have ever used it in the past you are probably retarded.
