My friend Gemma rescued two dogs, now named Carmelo and Brick, cruelly tied up and abandoned in Burlingame, California. And she's asking for help.

The animal shelter is unable to keep them or adopt them out because both animals have a tremendous fear of humans and need re-training before being placed in homes.

But training and caring for them costs money. And if there's not enough soon, both dogs will have to be put down.
