Free Software Foundation EuropeAustrian Regulatory Authority for Broadcasting and Telecommunications (RTR) has decided not to regulate network operators regarding #RouterFreedom, allowing ISPs to impose their equipment on consumers.
We at FSFE regret this decision as a missed opportunity for #DeviceNeutrality in Austria.
However, as RTR reiterated, the current decision is not final and the regulator will re-evaluate this framework in the future! 🤞🏼
