     @Awoo Really as a creator it's best to hit the sweet spot where there's attractive characters and just enough suggestiveness to get the hormones going, but not going all the way with it officially.

     His argument basically came down to "People want something to jerk off to, why make art when the show provides it" This theory doesn't account for non-horny works but it does raise a point that horny is powerful motivation tool.

     Friend of mine once had a theory that the more "fanservice" a show had, the less fan art it got.
