     Whether it is varis or NCD or baest or poast, I've found that, there are people to enjoy, people I can be friends with.
     
     But, if I had purity test rules they all had to meet, or behavioral rules, I'd probably not have any friends xD
     
     I'm hopeful, that I'll have a blessed time tonight or tomorrow, with the people that I didn't see anything to join in on today with xD
     
     Jesus, He is my strength, even in my relationships, so I don't have to eliminate anyone via purity, nor worry about how to improve friendships.

     It is immensely frustrating when someone blows me off purely because "oh he's on varis". Like, fuck you too then, I doubt you had anything interesting to say anyways. :gura_pout:
     
     But really, I just want to be friends with as many people as possible. Life is much more enjoyable when you spend it around people you like, talking about fun things, rather than obsessing over people and things that you hate. :BreezeHappy:

     @hazlin@squid.kids @SpurgAnon Something I’ve noticed with NC is that, at least for the “core members”, they have a very different culture to the rest of us here on fedi. They’re very much more of a boomer-esque social club, and I think the average age of members probably skews much higher than it does for other servers, and it shows in how they interact, both good and bad. A great example being how eagerly certain members will take bait the rest of us saw a mile away, like when the beefys used them to kick off drama against one of the TRS members (and graf) a few months ago. Really transparent pedo accusation that they bit hook, line, and sinker, even after Tyler admitted he was off the mark with the initial accusation in the first place.

     It’s kind of interesting, when it’s not leading to dumb infighting, cause you rarely ever get that kind of close interaction between two radically different groups.

     @SpurgAnon @Giganova8 Maybe? A lot of their conversations, I'm unable to predict the next reply, but they keep on going, I heard someone once describe those as aggressively normal, and I want to say that is true, but I really have no idea lol.
     
     You just resonate with certain people, and conversations die with others.

     It is easy to burn the heretic that does something you don't due, and it is easy to be understanding with those who share your failings.
     
     But you know, Jesus, when He encountered prostitutes or whores or thieves, He comforted them, He spoke kindly to them, He forgave them, and healed them.
     
     In their quest for observable purity, they stray farther from Jesus' example.
