@arstechnica If that causes the batteries to wear out faster, then I call it a net loss. Personal example is my new smartphone, but it's too early to say if Samsung's 85%-charge-limit option is a good or bad thing from that perspective...
@arstechnica Yeah, that’s what I hate about my #BoltEV. I stopped at a fast charger on a cold morning and could only pull 17 kW. That’s not a typo. I did take it on a summer road trip, though, and 50-54 kW was manageable. I made more, shorter fast-charges to cut down on time.
