   @charliebrownau @Codeki "The State" is not some special thing that recently came into existence. It's just a word we use to describe the people in charge. There have always been people in change. I would suggest what you have a problem with is the managerial nature of those people.

     Either men have the AUTHORITY with the responsibilities, burdens and demands
     
     or the STATE has the authority

     @charliebrownau @ned Patriarchy means that men have authority, and do everything important. Non-patriarchy means women have authority, and men have to do everything important without getting any of the benefits of having all the responsibility.

     Statism = The State has the Authority
     
     With Statism you remove the authority from
     Small Business
     Small Farms
     Family
     Fathers
     Mothers
     Men
     Community
     
     and transfer it ALL to the ((( STATE )))

     I find it ironic that people appeal to Victorian era ideals and sensibilities to argue that the west is sexist and patriarchal.
