cool_boy_mew (coolboymew@shitposter.club)'s status on Wednesday, 29-Nov-2023 05:41:59 JST cool_boy_mew Alright, so what's the best machine for cardio?
Stationary bikes are cheap and very available
Those walking leg things + arms also provide to light workout too?
Those, uh, running things are usually way too fucking massive and supra expensive, not an option
Anything else?-

make sure you read reviews, check craigslist/kijiji or whatever, my local area has a bunch of used ones for sale, no need to buy newcool_boy_mew likes this. -
Christmas_Man (christmas_man@thebag.social)'s status on Wednesday, 29-Nov-2023 06:00:07 JST Christmas_Man Rowing machines offer a more complete workout, targeting more muscle groups than cycling, but the machines can be expensive (even used). If you're into actually riding bikes and just want something you can do indoors to stay active during the winter, I'd suggest getting a turbo-trainer for your bicycle.
When I was going to a gym to use machines, I tried to get the most out of what they offered by using the rower first as a warmup (usually empty), the freeweights after (when the instagram crowd cleared out), and at the end of my workout I'd relax by hitting up the sauna/tub/pool.cool_boy_mew likes this. -
