   I don't get people who claim handheld gaming devices are good for gaming outside
   
   >0 privacy, you will always get rando faggots sneaking looks and telling you shit instead of minding their own business
   >if you're anywhere that isn't the US it means you can't play or look at anything NSFW either for point 1 or legal reasons
   >Have to carry some form of headphones everywhere in order to play
   >Battery life is a meme on demanding titles
   >Can't see shit because of the sunlight being a motherfucker (worst one)
   
   I also used to take my switch with me all the time but aside from reasons above, I personally found myself just watching YT/reading shit online while waiting
   
   Handheld shit is only good for gaming on the bed/while taking a shit

     @Meemoo I like handhelds because I can be wherever cozy place I want and play. I wouldn't take it outside because the sun sucks, other people are too nosey and I don't want to have to strangle a thief. :tamamo_cozy:

     Switch/deck is a pain to carry around.

     @Meemoo the psp is an amazing handheld as you can turn it off then continue from where you left off I can't remember about the battery life but I enjoyed it I have memories of ds being a multi player beast for monster hunter and mario kart.
     also I don't really care about people outside as they look like they wanna kill themselves.

     @Meemoo they aren't "good for gaming outside". Mostly because the screen sucks under the sun.
     They are good for commuting, or for passing time while you wait for an appointment.
     
     But yeah, the 3DS was perfect for that, while I wouldn't take a Switch or a Steam Deck anywhere outside.
     
     This "passing time while commuting/waiting" niche was taken by phones anyways.
