A buddy of mine invited me to his family’s Thanksgiving on Friday. I was talking to his aunt about how a good friend of mine left her husband … who is now identifying as a woman. My friend’s aunt started talking about her grandson, who’s now a granddaughter and no longer responds to her. A few months ago I was at a BBQ where one of my friend’s co-worker told me a eerily similar story about her son, who moved to Arizona and who might respond to her texts once a month if that.

The expansionism is quite frightening.
