school is worthless. university is worthless. autodidacts can learn any real skill themselves. the 12 years you put your child through school they could have become proficient at real skills like welding/machining/carpentry/construction/drywalling/tiling/roofing/electrical/plumbing/hvac/microsoldering/electrical repair etc and be rich if they play their cards right by the time they hit 30. those fields have near unlimited work demand with soaring labor prices. far more useful and in demand than any obsolete fields you can get through school/university channels. going to school/university is where losers go.
