@p@PurpCat@TheMadPirate@anonymous@ins0mniak Not my first rodero with it (there was an imageboard with modern SPA frontend that also included sentry.io in it; first thing I've done when its source code opened up is removing it).
@p@PurpCat@TheMadPirate@anonymous@ins0mniak Also since I've been absent yesterday, I had to do a double check about the fucking emulator. I vaguely remember him complaining about Pleroma-FE having embedded Ruffle for Flash games (could be wrong, can't find any concrete evidence), can't see how is it any different aside from maybe taking less bytes.
@mint@PurpCat@TheMadPirate@anonymous@ins0mniak I don't recall hearing about this; fedi's been allergic to analytics and tracking (...except hachyderm) so it seems like someone would have said something.
@p@PurpCat@TheMadPirate@anonymous@ins0mniak I recall him experimenting with tracking before. I have a copy from September and @sentry packages are already in package.json; git blame shows it being added by "Chewbacca" on 2023-02-13 (commit 66f78144ea).
@mint@PurpCat@TheMadPirate@anonymous@ins0mniak Yeah, I figure no one's paying attention to the code; but it gets committed, then merged into dev, then merged into stable, then at some point there's a release and a build gets added to the backend repo, so first commit might be a ways away from the first actual deployment.
repugnant is closer to the feeling of hatred then dislike (psyhcologically speaking). And it IS repugnant, you see. But if you focus too much on that, you're feeding the loop.
Don't kill your hate by famine, we have these emotions for a reason. Put him in a diet
