   5x Pocket Reform release candidate 2 motherboard PCBs ordered. will arrive ~dec 3rd.

   now i just have to decide if i want to change anything on the keyboard PCB or no. the only thing that comes to mind is a power switch IC for the 5V rail to the SK6805 leds, to optimize the case of running with backlight completely off. not sure if worthwhile

     @gsuberland datasheet says 1mA, not sure how accurate that is. for 64 LEDs that would be around 64mA @ 5V

     @___warhier nein, habe noch nie in D bestuecken lassen. bei pcbway kannst du dir ein angebot machen lassen wie es ist wenn sie alle teile besorgen, und dann kannst du teile die zu teuer sind durch deine eigenen ersetzen.

     @mntmn Danke. Was ist bei denen flexibel? Ich kenne mich mit Bestückung in "Fernost" leider nicht aus. Habe privat einmal hier vorort machen lassen, alle Bauteile bis auf Standardwiderstände beigestellt. Das ist am Ende so teuer geworden, dass ich mich frage, ob ich das doch mal woanders versuchen soll.

     Hast du einen vergleich mit Aisler bzw. Erfahrungen mit denen?

     @mntmn Oh I didn't ask, but do you have any guesses as to when in Q1 you think it will be out? Just curious. Not something I am sure you have time to mess with much, just wondered though. Seen your updates and it looks nice. Glad usb-c is an option for charging. :)
