@parismarx Take a group of people, strip them of individual responsibility and you get a mob. Now give them a single extractive/exploitative goal (quarter on quarter profit growth) and you’ve created an institutional sociopath. It’s not that we haven’t been able to teach corporations ethics. The corporate form was specifically created as a shield so profit seekers wouldn’t be hampered by ethical concerns. Ethics, in a corporate context, is synonymous with public relations.
