   Wikipedia looks like trash now
   that ui is remnicent of the disgusting "mobile ux" phase that people think looks good.

     @h @theorytoe when I first stumbled upon the update I thought my browser was being buggy. it's just terrible, unintuitive and moves a ton of things that were on the sidebar to god knows where. things that I loved. glad Wikipedia in other languages haven't gone ahead with the change yet

     @meso @theorytoe i am also a daily wikipedia reader. i explained what i meant about paragraphs being more legible this way in a different reply, but just suffice to say it absolutely is more legible imo. I've already noticed just using wikipedia normally.

     I've been aware of en.m.wikipedia.org, it isn't wide enough on desktop. i think the new desktop wikipedia is a perfect inbetween.

     @h @theorytoe nothing is more legible. it's worse legibility even.
     
     there is a responsive wikipedia it's called m.en.wikipedia.org this is an unnecessary change that makes it harder and less comfortable to read I say this as an almost daily wikipedia reader
