     Honestly, Lubuntu 22.04 LTS is basically a slackware of types, becuase it doesn't expire until 2025 and even then if the machine is airgapped who gives af, esp if the machine is just a tool or workhorse for something.
     
     I have finally embraced glacier Linux, CENTOS was right!!!

     I think sometimes you have interesting things to say so when I see the possibility I try but I lose interest when I have to go out of my way to sift through posts to find something relevant.

     @dcc @charlie_root it’s not about “downloading”, if you are connected to networks on your machine you need to update your OS on a regular basis to apply security patches, not including vulns that haven’t been publicly disclosed

     Alright, posting here cause I don't wanna be in that hellthread :P
     Yeah I can see the good things about it.
     I think homeboy was a bit extreme saying that it sucks ass, each has their distro of preference and that's fine but if slackware has been around for as long as it did then it probably does NOT suck ass, a bit short sighted to say that only because it doesn't suit their needs and/or preferences.
