     @arstechnica Just to make sure I understand Musk's general claims:
     -He is a free speech absolutist.
     -He is a libertarian and feels that market forces are the way things should work.

     Musk then says what he wants (including racist crap). People don't like it, they pick up, and stop doing business with him - if only for their own self serving reasons like brand image.
     Sounds like a FK around and find out situation using his own rules.

     @arstechnica It's nothing more than a frame job that they're doing to Donald Trump. Media Matters doesn't care about journalism. They're running around framing Musk claiming that he's an anti-semite by putting words in his mouth. I suspect that they're claims are definitely going to backfire. Watch for this case to fall apart.
