     @weissrespecter @Azur_Fenix if that works. dell, alienware and other oems sometimes use proprietary hardware like in motherboard form factors and psus which makes upgrading or replacing difficult to impossible.
     
     higher prices
     inferior components
     low build quality (yes even lower than a first timer could do)
     wrong default settings (low ram speed, wrong fan speeds, high temps = lower performance)
     
     you also don't need to send in your pc for repair but can fix it yourself

     @Azur_Fenix What's the point in doing it then? :shrug: I can just buy a prebuilt PC and add or change out any parts myself if I ever feel the need to. That's what I've been doing with my current computer for over 7 years.
