@mathowie If the car has GPS, even if you never use their maps, they get your location at all times, right? (If they have a cell connection to exfiltrate that data, that is) IMO, that location data is amongst the most sensitive, and not connecting your phone doesn't stop it.

This is Chevy trying to hoover up all customer data to analyze and likely sell.
