     The way ridiculous ideas spread throughout the right wing is really scary tbh
     
     Someone will say something really fucking stupid like "da elekshun wuz stolen" or "we shud bomb mexico!" and you'll have most people ignore it, with some sorta kinda defend it as "something we should at least look into, do our due diligence!"
     
     Then the stupid idea gets repeated. And again. And again. And more people start to defend it. They start to believe it.
     
     And it goes from "we should do our due diligence" to "this is clearly true and the best way forward and if you don't agree you're an idiot or a traitor."
     
     It's really dangerous and makes me wish all this cattle would simply drop dead for the good of the nation
