   My daughters iPhone was stolen last week. I reported it as stolen right away. She logged in Apple and tracked it to 45min away.
   
   Why would she still be able to track it? Does this mean the thieves did not format it yet? What can they do with the phone since it is was reported as stolen and can't activate it?

     They arnt

     Good chance to replace the ((( APPLE))) with a dumb phone
     , store numbers in a notepad, use a separate WATCH and separate Digital/analogue camera
