   pretty interesting, a niche youtuber like https://www.youtube.com/@MacintoshLibrarian/videos with ~15k subscribers can already get ~$500 a month on patreon. these small channels are more viable as a 'real job' than i thought.

     A ~15k audience of subscribers might be worth more than a larger audience depending on how much engagement you can reliably get from them.
