It's time for my cringy trimonthly blogpost.
My household got its first computer in like 94 or 95. Without self doxing, a brilliant uncle of mine had an in with computer companies at the time, was also a ranked and decorated air force serviceman. Highly intelligent and very wealthy. Sent us stuff like a Nintendo with every single cart in existence at the time and sent us a computer.
It slowly turned me from a very active little elf kid into a grumpy edgy nerd who would forget to eat for days at a time. Gave me access to things I shouldn't have had access to at a very young age, namely pornography. Being as stereotypical an autist as one might imagine I probably should have been forced to interact with real people rather than be allowed to sink into the murky abyss of Internet 1 (best internet btw). Went down several esoteric rabbit holes. Was definitely not the type of kid who should have had access to the internet. Too smart, too curious.
Thankfully now I'm at worst a loner with misanthropic leanings. Owner of a successful two year start up but still poor as hell since the boomerpocalypse obliterated my family's wealth. Love the outdoors and the beauty of nature.
Landed me in circles that are anywhere from two weeks to five years ahead of the general population when it comes to social and political trends and news.
As for the question as to whether is was a good idea? No, it wasn't. LOL

It's weird that as were getting older, and getting more plugged into the truth, the Indoor Kids are becoming the Nature Adults.

Well, at least I never trooned out and fell in love with touching the grass, water and rocks. :blob_shrug:
