   I’n gonna make a story arc where the hero loses his powers and instead of learning that he can be a hero even without them, he learns the opposite lesson that he’s nothing without the powers he was granted by chance (divine providence) and relying on them (God) is ok

     @King_Noticer I'm reminded of Tokyo ESP where the main character's superpower is phasing, so she's brawler-type character with it, then she loses her powers, but her toughness and strength were never actually part of her power set; she gets hit by a bus and just walks it off.
