Well, the thing under discussion is the uptight lady from Donny Darko is running for president and wants everyone to have to use their real name on Twitter (or at least is saying that), and people are concerned that this will somehow affect fedi.

A real person, yes. Someone that intends to cause a problem, no: every ban is a victory. Someone engaged in agitprop, also no: every ban is compensated by the new account engagement bump, so it's a wash. So, Twitter would start bleeding people that want to use Twitter, while retaining the same number of trolls and "evil Russian propaganda bots".

This is fine with me: I don't think anyone should use Twitter.
