   With film starting out only suitable for silent comedy, and now the duration pushed for popular online videos being best suited to silent comedy?

     ok so i just wanna say: Buster Keaton would have RULED TikTok.

     - silent comedy meant to be accompanied by music
     - clever use of editing and backgrounds (see fig. 1)
     - dangerous stunts people would totally try to copy
