I've said it before and I'll say it again. Every false religion has had a figure, a visage appear that is not God to tell of a new gospel, one that sounds pleasant to the ears of men who seek to pay lipservice and comfort themselves of the punishment deserved from our sin
Always keep in mind that God has always, in every single case appeared to His prophets and apostles directly. The Word has taken different forms but always distinguishes Himself, whether as fire or cloud or the figure that appears to be a man or as Jesus. Nobody does God's work but Him, nobody speaks for the Lord, He speaks for Himself and has never been distant and needs NOBODY else to communicate for Him or do work on His behalf. He is all powerful all loving all merciful all forgiving. If He weren't then He'd require help or need another to communicate, because that speaks to a weakness or insufficiency, an imperfection that God cannot do something or chooses not to do something which then denigrates His perfect attributes
Every cult and false religion has done this. An "angel" or "saint" has appeared before a supposed apostle or prophet(which of course there is no evidence for in any of these cases and the tales are so embellished and apocryphal that when these anti-Christs try to add it to the bible it sticks out like a sore thumb) to tell them of meriting salvation or of another figure who comes after Christ because His crosswork was insufficient. Exactly what satan wants you to believe, that God isn't good enough and you need "more"
- Machismo repeated this.

He didn't _really_ die for your sins, He didn't _really_ pay the price for you, He didn't _really_ forgive the thief on the cross, He didn't _really_ say the tax collector who had done nothing and been wicked who only proclaimed for the Lord to have mercy on him in his heart was justified and not the pious pharisee who had done all these "great works", He didn't _really_ say "Father if there be any other way, let this cup pass from me", He didn't _really_ say...
God said satan is crafty and clever. He didn't say that as hyperbole for God is not proud, He will tell you of the strong attributes of His enemies, for He isn't afraid. He does it for our sakes. He tells us this because satan will attempt to dissuade and confuse. Satan went to work fast on a new gospel, one that tells you of earthly merit and self salvation, but he does not say it so in those terms, he calls it "atonement", as though Christ had not already done so on our behalf. Satan will convince you that forgiveness has a different context to the Lord when the Lord defines forgiveness. You know forgiveness, when your debt is forgiven that is not setting a payment program, it is a slate wiped clean entirely with no recompense. Christ was pierced for our transgressions. Isaiah would look a bit foolish if you were correct in thinking you have to do atonement for the price God paid, for why would God pay a price that you then have to pay yourself? If you were supposed to pay it in the first place? And I assure you my friends, there is no such thing as atoning acts. God deliberately, unmistakably told us that the price and wage for sin is DEATH. There is no such thing as degrees of sin. A sin is to break God's Law. Commit one sin you've committed them all, and you and I deserve to die for breaking His Law which is why God died on our behalf because He is infinite in life and love and could pay that price for all our sin for all our sakes. God's sacrifice was more than enough, you don't amount to anything so couldn't even help to add to it. Another gospel? A fuller religion? Be you like Aaron's sons who bring a new strange fire to the Lord that which He did not command and be swallowed up by the fire? Do you go beyond what is written? I tell you now what Christ has said, be like a child. Rely on Him for everything. For every moment of weakness rely on His strength, for every time of grieving rely on His comfort, for every moment of temptation rely on His shepherding, for every moment of joy rely on His guidance, for every moment of peace rely on His steadfastness, for every moment of confusion rely on His wisdom. Let Him do everything for you, turn to Him in every hour. Be like a dependent lost child crying out for a parent to clothe him, feed him, provide for him, and most importantly love him. Do not think yourself a better child for standing on your own. Every "gift" you provide to the Father is that which He already owns. You have been privileged in being a steward on His earth with His abundance, He is not a mangod for He does not want, you cannot appease Him. Do not be like babylon building a throne and tower which God will deem worthy and step down to, for He cannot even recognize it for how small it is. There are none righteous, no NOT EVEN ONE. All have turned away, all curse His name. Be like a child, who knows little and does nothing apart from and depends entirely upon his Father for everything no matter how big or small. That sentence is redundant on purpose, Paul and other apostles and prophets knew full well as God had instructed all of them that repetition is necessary so that you do not have an excuse, to claim you cannot read the scroll for it is sealed, never bothering to ask if there is One who could unseal it
