     Fediblock will end in a centralized group of a few people maybe making a small to medium amount of money
     
     If Bluesky ever actually goes online, I think a lot of people will suddenly realize how much normies (where the money actually is) don’t give a fuck about fedi technology and principles and will essentially recreate twitter on a different url. Maybe Jack will let people run their own AT instances, but they’ll phone home or better yet just reverify posts your instance federates and just shadowblast your instance if your posters aren’t kosher.
     
     And at the end of the day, realistically, the web will be better for it. Literally thirty seconds of looking at the poast timeline is enough to convince me that human beings cannot be trusted to self-govern responsibly.
