     as a go programmer
     I would reccomend to "skip" to chaper 11 so you can understand go modules.
     
     Its quite crucial to doing a *lot* of things with go.
     You dont have to read between the lines, just gloss over it so that you at least undertsand the go mod utility and the basics of modules.
     
     The tour of go on the official website is also a great resource as well
