@paula@mangeurdenuage that's also not accurate in it's own right. Each flour has different densities so you'll be off unless the recipe calls for a specific flour type.
@7666@mangeurdenuage cause volume measurement is graded and sometimes you need a specific value so if you need 230ml of flour, you'll need to do "a little less than 250ml" while on a scale you can get straight up the quantity in grams just a matter of precision, whether it matters depends on what you are making
@7666@mangeurdenuage nobody would measure flour in mililiters tho, we use grams for that i agree half a cup works well in simple recipes but like, if you are looking up a recipe, might as well use something precise in grams
