   It is being taught to primary school children. So laughing at it isn't "nuanced," it's either embarrassing ignorance or deliberate gaslighting on John Oliver's part. Which is it, do you think?

     The guy we're laughing at was claiming that it was being taught to primary school children. The video you linked is about sex ed for high school students. Context is carefully clipped, but I'm guessing it's about gay kids in voluntary activity, not regular classroom teaching.

     Machismo repeated this.
