     @nixCraft Oh oh oh I did the very same thing but full stack and OMFG TELL ME ABOUT IT!!

     Modern sw cannot run fast, cannot run reliably, cannot be audited and CANNOT BE SECURED!!

     And it's GETTING WORSE!!!

     @nixCraft I always remember Steve Krug’s book “Don’t make me think!” from way back when I made hobby sites and considered going pro. I found his blog and he’s faring pretty well with the stare of the net now.

     @nixCraft Hah, true! Not uncommon to see node_modules that are ~5GB, or the frontend build process for releases being more taxing than traffic.

     If you are looking for an alternative, you should check out my web component framework Modulo (also this account!). It's "like React/Vue/Svelte" so it keeps frontenders happy, but is much, much simpler.

     Best of all, it's tiny: <2000 lines
